The residents of the ancient town of Bida in Bida Local Government Area of Niger State were bewildered yesterday when a baby girl holding tightly to a rosary (tesbiy) in her hands was born.

The incident, which occurred at 2pm at Kotuworo area of Bida, close to the house of Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Mansaba, the man with 86 wives, was said to have made people to troupe in from all over the town in the bid to have a look at the baby born to Mrs. Adijat and Mallam Issa, who both hail from Lama, Kwara State.

It was gathered that earlier in the day, Adijat, seized by labour pangs, was rushed to the home of a midwife, Abubakar Baiwa Shasha, where she was delivered of the baby girl
