Wafanyakazi wa Tigo wapata fursa ya kusoma kupitia mtandao

Mfanyakazi wa Tigo katika kitengo cha Tigo Biashara, Janeth Kwilasa akikabidhiwa cheti na Mkurugenzi mkuu wa Tigo Diego Gutierrez ya mfanyakazi aliyesoma kozi nyingi zaidi kupitia mfumo wa mtandao uitwao Millicom University kwenye hafla iliofanyika katika ofisi za Tigo, Dar es Salaam

Mkuu wa Tigo kitengo cha Intergrated Services, Kerion Barnes akikabidhiwa cheti na Mkurugenzi mkuu wa Tigo Diego Gutierrez ya mfanya kazi alieosoma kupitia mfumo wa mtandao uitwao Millicom University kwenye hafla iliyofanyika katika ofisi za Tigo,Dar es Salaam.

Wafanyakazi wa Tigo Tanzania wakimskiliza Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa Tigo Diego Gutierrez(hayupo pichani), katika hafla ya kuwatambua wafanya kazi waliosoma kupitia mfumo wa mtandao uitwao Millicom University kwenye hafla iliyofanyika katika ofisi za Tigo,Dar es Salaam.

Mfanya kazi wa Tigo katika kitengo cha Tigo Biashara, Freddie Clement(katikati) na mkuu wa kitengo cha rasilimali watu, Afrika, Ayotade Oyinlola(kushoto) wakiwa katika picha ya pamoja baada ya kukabidhiwa cheti na Mkurugenzi mkuu wa Tigo Diego Gutierrez(kulia), ya mfanya kazi aliyesoma masaa zaidi ya 35 kupitia mfumo wa mtandao uitwao Millicom University kwenye hafla iliyofanyika katika ofisi za Tigo, Dar es Salaam.





Tigo Tanzania staff can now continue benefitting from an e-learning platform known as Millicom University, a learning organization that aims to promote digital lifestyle by providing learning and development experience that matters to the employees and the company.

This was revealed during the launch of the Millicom University e-learning platform with a campaign dubbed ‘Nasonga Mbele na Millicom University’.  
Speaking during the event Tigo General Manager Diego Gutierrez said that, “We are very excited to deploy e-Learning solutions to our employees who are based all over the country. This investment in our people highlights our commitment to building employee skills and knowledge through online training which is readily available through Millicom University”.

Gutierrez stated that, “Several milestones have been achieved, since the inception of the e-learning training which include a Tigo Business Programme; tailored programme for Go To Market(GTM), Customer Operations(Cops); Focused programs have been formulated for all Regional Sales Managers(RSMs), Regional Distribution Managers(RDMs) and Territory Managers(TMs), to ensure learning is taking place throughout the whole workforce.
The Learning & Development function has been working in close collaboration with the Senior Management team to execute plans of building staff capacity and ensuring that this is cascaded to all levels of the workforce with emphasis on the online training aligned to our Millicom Digital Lifestyle, the General Manager said.
“We look forward to giving awards to the best learners and Learning Champions that have spent considerable time exploring the Learning Management System, and are close to achieving 40 hours of learning for this calendar year,” he said
 In the next step according to Gutierrez, we will embark on training the rest of the organization’s staffs on the use of the learning portal.
