To enhance its customer service experience, Exim
Bank Tanzania has strengthened the efficiency of its Contact Centre by
introducing new services and increasing its working hours.
Speaking
at the official opening of the new Contact Centre located at NIC Building in
Dar es Salaam, Exim Bank Chief Financial Officer Mr. Selemani Ponda said “We
are pleased to inform our customers and the general public that our Contact
Centre is now stronger and more efficient and it boasts a complete selection of
both inbound and outbound services”.
The
Contact Centre hours are now from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to
4:00 pm on weekends. This is a significant extension from the former hours of
8:00am to 6:00 pm on weekdays. This means that Exim Bank current and potential
customers can reach out to the Bank even after office hours and be sure to have
access to an Exim representative.
The
Contact Centre, which can receive calls in both English and Swahili, will also
have some of the harder-to-find features like warm-calling services with robust
Self-Help Interactive Voice Respond supporting TANAPA. This means any TANAPA Card
holder can now use the self-service IVR to know their card balance. This
removes the need for a TANAPA Card holder to visit any branch or ATM for information
on their account balance.
“It
is very important for our business that clients are able to conveniently access
the information they need. We have dedicated and well trained agents with
personalized service focused solely on our business, which means by simply
calling our help line 0784107600 you can get any information on Exim products
and services”, said Frank Matoro, Exim Bank Customer Service, Senior Manager.
In
the near future Exim Bank plans to extend its Contact Centre work hours to a
full service 24/7 call centre. In the meantime the Exim Bank customers and the
general public can access the Contact Centre from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on
weekdays and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends through 0784107600.
