Heineken in partnership with Premium outlet Samaki Samaki have
unveiled a brand new state-of-the-art consumer experience aimed at engaging
beer consumers in Dar es Salaam City.
Located in Masaki, Msasani Peninsula, the Iconic Heineken
Bucket Lounge, which is also first of its kind in the East African region, is
open to all consumers. The space features an interactive and innovative live
viewing experience for sports enthusiasts which includes a custom designed
setting allowing football fans to engage, and get a first-hand live viewing of
all exciting football matches around the globe.
“Samaki Samaki is one of the best nightlife outlets in
Tanzania & a passion point for our
Heineken consumers and we are very proud and excited to support Samaki Samaki
in its cool milestones,” shared Michael Mbungu, Country Manager, Heineken
Tanzania. “This year, we enhanced our presence at the outlet by going big on
interior design and transforming a simple space into an innovative,
digitally-infused consumer offering with the chance to engage in the iconic
Heineken Experience.”
“It is a space designed as a tribute to Heineken, from the
background pictures on walls, the roof uniquely boasts of 5,000 empty green
bottles. For the sitting & tables, designers borrowed a leaf from ‘Vijiwe
vya uswahilini’ with an urban twist specially designed to bring out
conversations and ensure patrons are engaged,” says Samaki Samaki Owner Carlo Bastos.
The space is fully-equipped with complementary free WiFi from
4G TIGO, charging stations and seats a maximum of 40 persons.
This space is made to bring people, friends, closer and is
uniquely different from the rest and allows patrons to watch all football
matches comfortably with 5 big screen Tvs, while enjoying cold Heinekens.
Nowadays,
a lot of people like to drink by buckets....so this space is special for
them...in that people can drink only buckets. We have buckets of
everything...whisky, gin, beer. It also targets corporates or individuals that
want to do a party, birthday, or corporate meetings,” he expounded.
